Terms of Use for VisualBucks
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using VisualBucks, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app or related services.
2. Description of Service
VisualBucks provides AI-assisted object valuation tools, scan credit features, scan history, valuation reports, account features, and purchase/subscription options through the Android app and related backend services.
3. Valuation Estimates
VisualBucks valuations are estimates for informational purposes only. They may be affected by image quality, missing identifiers, condition, regional market variation, timing, market demand, buyer interest, and AI limitations.
4. No Professional Appraisal / No Guarantee
VisualBucks is not a licensed appraisal service unless explicitly stated. Valuations are not professional appraisal reports, financial advice, legal advice, tax advice, insurance appraisals, authentication guarantees, or guaranteed resale values.
5. User Responsibility
Users are responsible for verifying important information, authenticity, condition, provenance, serial numbers, maker marks, and market value before buying, selling, insuring, donating, or relying on an item's valuation.
6. Purchases, Scan Credits, and Subscriptions
Scan credits and subscriptions may be available through Google Play Billing. Availability, pricing, refunds, renewals, and billing terms may be governed by Google Play policies. Scan credits are digital app credits used inside VisualBucks and have no cash value unless otherwise required by law.
7. Credit Balances and Limits
VisualBucks may enforce scan balance caps, purchase limits, fraud controls, duplicate purchase protection, and account-level restrictions. Credits may be adjusted if required to correct errors, fraud, failed verification, duplicate grants, refunds, chargebacks, or technical issues.
8. Refunds
Refunds and cancellations for Google Play purchases/subscriptions are generally handled through Google Play according to Google Play policies. VisualBucks may adjust scan credits or subscription benefits after refunds, chargebacks, or failed verification.
9. Account Access
Certain features require Google Sign-In. Users are responsible for maintaining control of their Google account and device.
10. User Content
Users are responsible for images and information they submit. Users should only submit content they have the right to use and should avoid uploading private personal documents, unrelated sensitive information, or content that violates rights or laws.
11. Prohibited Use
Users may not use VisualBucks to commit fraud, misrepresent item values, violate laws, infringe intellectual property, upload illegal content, abuse the service, reverse engineer the app, interfere with backend systems, or attempt to obtain unauthorized access.
12. AI Limitations
AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or uncertain. Users should treat results as a starting point, not a final authority.
13. Service Availability
VisualBucks may be unavailable due to maintenance, service outages, third-party platform issues, API failures, billing provider issues, or app updates.
14. Intellectual Property
VisualBucks, the logo, app design, theme, software, UI assets, brand elements, and related materials are owned by VisualBucks or its rights holders. Users may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, resell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works except as allowed by law or written permission. See our Copyright Notice.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VisualBucks is not liable for lost profits, lost sale opportunities, inaccurate valuations, purchasing decisions, resale outcomes, item authenticity disputes, indirect damages, or reliance on estimated values.
16. Changes to Terms
VisualBucks may update these Terms. Continued use after updates means acceptance of the updated terms.
